Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Tutor in Wythenshawe to join a permanent teaching role focused on apprenticeships in RAC. The position involves educating and mentoring learners, developing learning plans, and preparing students for the EPA alongside collaboration with employers.

Qualifications

• Experience in refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
• Proven teaching experience.
• Possession of Level 3 and willingness to work towards Level 4 teaching qualifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality apprenticeship programmes in refrigeration and air conditioning.
• Develop and implement effective teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Engage learners and employers to ensure a supportive learning environment.
• Manage and maintain a caseload of learners, ensuring timely interventions and progress.
• Prepare learners for the End Point Assessment (EPA) process.
• Create individualised learning plans tailored to learner needs, including Maths and English.
• Ensure all assessments and feedback are delivered accurately and constructively.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure continuous improvement.
