Job summary

Matchtech supports a prominent education and training institution in recruiting a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Tutor for the Wythenshawe campus. This permanent, full-time teaching role focuses on delivering high-quality RAC apprenticeship programmes and preparing learners for End Point Assessments.

You will develop learning plans, apply effective teaching strategies, track progress, and collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve learner outcomes, including Maths and English support.

Qualifications

• Experience in refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
• Understanding of apprenticeship standards and their delivery.
• Proven teaching experience at levels aligned to RAC apprenticeships.
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 and Level 4 teaching qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality apprenticeship programmes in refrigeration and air conditioning.
• Develop and implement effective teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Engage learners and employers to ensure a supportive learning environment.
• Manage and maintain a caseload of learners, ensuring timely interventions and progress.
• Prepare learners for the End Point Assessment (EPA) process.
• Create individualised learning plans for learners, including Maths and English.
• Ensure all assessments and feedback are delivered accurately and constructively.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure continuous improvement.
