R&D Laboratory Technician

ABOUT OUR DIABETES CARE DIVISION:

At Abbott Diabetes Care Witney, we develop and manufacture a number of technologies used in the management of diabetes, including the next generation sensor technology used in the revolutionary new FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring system. We are expanding and have exciting opportunities for those keen to kick-start a laboratory-based career in Product Development.

We're looking for a detail-oriented, organised, and science-driven R&D Laboratory Technician to support our sensor labs in Witney.

The Role:

  • Support R&D Laboratory Operations: Collaborate with Senior Lab Technicians and technical teams to ensure smooth daily operations across our sensor labs.

  • Maintain Cleanliness & Organisation: Ensure laboratory glassware, equipment, and supplies are cleaned, well-maintained, and readily available. Support experimental test setups and clean-downs.

  • Document & Archive: Assist with the organisation, filing, and archiving of laboratory documentation.

  • Ensure Compliance: Help maintain a compliant, audit-ready laboratory environment that adheres to relevant regulations.
