Job summary

Esh-Stantec, the joint venture delivering water and wastewater capital projects, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a large, friendly team in Bowburn. You will oversee commercial management, measurement, valuation and cash flow across projects, ensuring contractual compliance and financial control.

You will work with Site Managers and delivery teams to drive cost control, value engineering, and manage subcontracts under NEC/JCT frameworks.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in a commercial environment.
• Competent in Civil Engineering construction processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Measure works on site and from drawings.
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely valuation of works.
• Assist in monitoring project costs and budgets.
• Produce cost value reconciliations and subcontract liability reports.
• Administer subcontracts and manage variations/claims.
• Support audit requirements and commercial governance.
• Work closely with site managers and delivery teams.
