Job summary

Verelogic Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its civil engineering team in Bowburn. You will manage commercial aspects of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate valuations, cost control and contract compliance.

You will work with site teams and project managers to monitor costs, prepare CVRs, and support procurement and payment processes. A degree in Quantity Surveying and ~5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Approximately five years' experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role.
• Experience in measurement, valuation, cost control and subcontract management.
• Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contract conditions.

Responsibilities

• Measure works on site and from drawings, preparing interim valuations and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance; identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare CVRs, subcontract liability reports and assist with forecasting.
• Administer contracts and subcontracts per NEC/JCT conditions.
• Manage variations, compensation events, dayworks and scope changes.
• Support subcontractor procurement and assess payment applications.
• Ensure timely valuations to support cash flow and maintain records for audit.
