Job summary

Esh-Stantec is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial management of water contracts from its Bowburn base. You will ensure accurate measurement, valuation and cash flow, supporting project delivery with strong financial control and contractual compliance.

Working within a large, friendly team, you will collaborate with Site Managers, manage subcontracts, variations, CVRs and cost reporting to maximise income while meeting project targets and governance timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in the commercial environment.
• Competent in Civil Engineering construction processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Measure works on site and from drawings.
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely valuation of works.
• Assist in monitoring project costs and budgets.
• Produce CVRs and subcontract liability reports.
• Support forecast preparation and cost tracking.
• Administer subcontracts and manage variations/compensation events.
• Issue and manage contractual notices.
• Assist with payment notices and final accounts.
