Job summary

Durham-based Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor role within water infrastructure projects, delivering robust financial control and contract compliance under NEC contracts. You'll manage costs from inception to final account, produce valuations and CVRs, oversee subcontract management, variations and cash flow, while working with operations to drive profitable delivery.

Typical project values range from £1m to £50m in the North East.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, utilities or civil engineering projects.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts, especially NEC4.
• Experience producing valuations, CVRs and managing subcontracts.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial management of water infrastructure projects on NEC contracts.
• Produce valuations, CVRs and cost reports; monitor cash flow and forecasting.
• Manage subcontract procurement and payments; handle variations and change control.
• Collaborate with operations to maximise commercial performance and profitability.
