Job summary

Binnies, part of the RSK Group, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its Water Non-Infrastructure Commercial team in Peterborough. You will act as the commercial conscience, ensuring costs are controlled, value is maximised, and risks are minimised while maintaining governance standards across delivery and site teams.

You will manage cost reporting, support commercial decisions, and uphold contract requirements, helping the team drive efficiency and cost assurance throughout the project

Qualifications

• Experience in cost and commercial management.
• Degree in engineering, management, or cost-related discipline (desirable).
• Passion for pursuing a career in Commercial Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of commercial and cost management for projects as directed by the Project Commercial Manager.
• Deliver accurate, timely cost reporting, analysis and data for commercial decision-making.
• Ensure project teams understand contractual arrangements and client requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to identify, implement and monitor efficiency improvements.
• Maintain robust commercial records, including final accounts, to support audits and cost assurance.
