Job summary
Balfour Beatty VINCI is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team on site around Birmingham for the HS2 programme. The role focuses on developing and implementing contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes to support on-site delivery.
You should hold a BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent), with civils/infrastructure experience and membership to RICS/ICES/CIOB preferred.
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB (Desired).
- Previous civils/infrastructure project experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office.
Responsibilities
- Assists in BBV commercial position by developing and implementing an in-depth knowledge of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes relating to contracts.
- Reporting to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager for relevant commercial aspects of a section of a project.
- Develops knowledge of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes and supports delivery teams.
- Demonstrates and maintains a high level of commercial and technical knowledge to meet business and customer needs.
