Job summary

Balfour Beatty VINCI is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in Birmingham. This role requires strong leadership skills in managing commercial aspects of large infrastructure projects such as HS2. You will have the autonomy to lead tasks and ensure BBV’s commercial interests are protected.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
• Experience working on a large infrastructure project.
• Experience on civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead tasks and processes with ownership and accountability.
• Manage commercial aspects in collaboration with project management.
• Protect BBV’s commercial position using legal and contractual knowledge.
• Support client relationship management for contract progression.
• Guide development of commercial team members.
• Prepare and evaluate subcontract tender invitations.
