Job summary

GreenScout are working exclusively with a major player within the HV industry, who urgently require a Quantity Surveyor on an initial 6 month contract.

Role focuses on commercially managing National Grid infrastructure projects under NEC4 contracts, including cost control, contract administration and commercial reporting, in collaboration with project teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 3+ years' Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience working under NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of allocated NEC4 projects.
• Prepare and manage Compensation Events, Early Warning Notices and Applications for Payment.
• Produce monthly CVRs, forecasts and cost reports.
• Administer subcontractor accounts and procurement.
• Manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Negotiate and agree final accounts.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
