Daniel Owen Ltd, a well-established family-run construction business, is seeking a self-sufficient Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of tendering and the commercial process from start to finish.

Based in the office, you will price tenders, prepare budgets, review drawings, and manage costs across domestic and commercial projects, working closely with Directors, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifikationen

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
• Ability to independently price and tender projects.
• Strong understanding of domestic and commercial construction.
• Experience working directly with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Aufgaben

• Produce accurate tenders and estimates for domestic and commercial projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender docs.
• Source and negotiate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare budgets and cost plans.
• Monitor project costs and profitability.
• Manage variations and additional works.
• Prepare subcontract packages and procurement schedules.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple tenders and live projects.
