Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' UK construction industry experience.
• Strong subcontract procurement and commercial management experience.
• Detailed knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience managing valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commercial management systems.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial evaluations and benchmarking of subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue tender packages to subcontractors and draft subcontracts.
• Review bids, negotiate, and make award recommendations.
• Manage valuations, payments, variations, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and produce commercial reports.
• Oversee change control, risk, and contract closeout.
• Ensure CDM compliance and health and safety adherence.
• Provide guidance on JCT contracts and commercial matters.
