Job summary

Fulkers Bailey Russell seeks a passionate Quantity Surveyor to join its Bristol team on a hybrid basis. You’ll oversee projects across public and private sectors, handling cost management, tendering and post-contract duties to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

With MRICS or working towards Chartership, you’ll mentor junior staff, support BD activities, and contribute to the company’s sustainability and social impact. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying or related field with RICS accreditation.
• MRICS status or working towards Chartership with employer support.
• Strong grounding in cost management, contract suites and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from outset to completion including commercial and financial aspects.
• Produce cost plans, cash flows, lifecycle costing and tender documentation.
• Lead post-contract duties such as valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, project teams and consultants to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Mentor Assistant Surveyors and uphold health and safety standards.
