We're recruiting for an established highways and civil engineering contractor in the South East that is looking to strengthen its commercial team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor.
This isn't a role buried behind spreadsheets.
You’ll work closely with the operational and senior management teams, taking commercial responsibility across live projects and ensuring works are properly valued, variations are captured, costs remain controlled and projects deliver the margins expected.
The business operates across highways, surfacing and associated civil engineering works, so we're particularly interested in Quantity Surveyors who understand fast-moving, operational contracting environments rather than purely traditional building construction.
As Quantity Surveyor, you'll take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from initial handover through delivery and final account.
