Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a specialist building safety remediation and façade contractor to appoint a Quantity Surveyor for a major live project in North London/Herts. The role focuses on managing the commercials of a multi-trade remediation scheme, reporting to the Commercial Manager and offering scope to progress across future projects.

The successful candidate will have strong post-contract experience, valuations and variations, and the ability to work autonomously on-site

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, able to run a project's commercial side with minimal supervision.
• Strong post contract experience, particularly valuations and variations.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with site teams.

Responsibilities

• Take day to day commercial responsibility for the project, reporting to the Commercial Manager.
• Prepare and agree valuations.
• Identify, assess and manage variations across internal and external works.
• Manage the commercial side of a multi-trade project including direct, labour-only and subcontracted trades.
• Work with site and project teams to align commercial and operational priorities.
• Support other projects across the business as required.
