GVR Solutions Ltd in North West London is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist façades contractor. The role focuses on managing commercial aspects of façade packages, from procurement to final accounts, with emphasis on cost plans, budgets and variations.

You will work closely with project managers, clients and subcontractors, monitoring costs and cash flow to maximise profitability across projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
• Experience working for a façade, cladding, glazing or building envelope contractor would be highly advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
• Confident managing subcontractors, variations and final accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Managing the commercial aspects of façade packages from procurement through to final account.
• Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets, valuations and variations.
• Subcontractor procurement, negotiation and account management.
• Monitoring project costs, cash flow and commercial performance.
• Managing applications for payment, variations and final accounts.
• Working closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors and the wider commercial team.
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities to maximise project profitability.
