Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for major envelope/cladding remediation projects. You will lead commercial and contractual duties, manage forecasts, and oversee progress with multi-site teams across the UK.

Hybrid role with some Pompey office engagement and notable scope to travel nationwide, supported by strong training and career progression. A salary range of £45k-£80k DOE is offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in façade, cladding or external envelope surveying.
• Strong technical, contractual and commercial understanding.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work across multiple live projects.

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial and contractual responsibility for envelope/cladding projects.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, CVRs and project cash flows.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and final accounts.
• Negotiate contract terms and manage risk and cost exposure.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with progress.
• Liaise with project teams, senior management and external stakeholders.
• Frequent site visits across the UK with up to 2 days per week in Portsmouth office.
