Job summary

Foster & May Limited in Manchester seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team delivering residential projects for private clients across the region.

You will handle pre and post-contract activities, support APC progress, and collaborate with clients and the project team to ensure successful delivery. Based in the Northwest, you bring a QS degree and MRICS ambitions.

Qualifications

• Minimum: completed a Quantity Surveying degree or similar.
• APC Interview towards MRICS is encouraged.
• Strong pre- and post-contract knowledge.
• Experience working for private clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

An award-winning Quantity Surveying consultancy is looking to expand its Manchester team with the appointment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has worked on prime residential or broader residential schemes.

The Quantity Surveyor's role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will become part of a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveying team, supporting the successful delivery of residential projects for private clients throughout the country.

The new Quantity Surveyor shall undertake a client-facing role, supporting the delivery of projects at both pre and post contract stages while working closely with the client and wider project team.

The Quantity Surveyor

• Working towards completing APC Interview
• Minimum - completed a Quantity Surveying degree or similar
• Prime / high-end residential project experience would be preferred
• Strong Pre and Post contract knowledge
• Ideally experience with working for private clients
• PQS / Quantity Surveying Consultancy background and work experience
• Based in the Northwest
