Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in Hampshire to join a people‑focused construction consultancy. You’ll work across diverse projects, taking on pre and post‑contract duties and building strong client relationships.

You’ll benefit from mentoring, clear career progression and hybrid working with a strong emphasis on development and MRICS accreditation where possible.

Qualifications

• Consultancy Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong pre- and post-contract experience.
• Good working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Proactive approach and desire to develop your career.
• MRICS qualification or working towards chartership is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Quantity Surveying services from project inception through to completion.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, tender documentation and contract documentation.
• Manage project costs and financial reporting.
• Administer contracts under JCT and NEC forms.
• Work closely with clients, contractors and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support junior team members where appropriate.
• Build long-term client relationships and contribute to repeat business.

The Role
