Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in a Hampshire-based role. You will work across projects providing pre and post-contract services, building strong client relationships and delivering cost controls.

The role offers mentorship, clear career progression, and hybrid working with a supportive team committed to development and MRICS support where needed.

Qualifications

• Consultancy quantity surveying experience.
• Strong pre and post-contract experience.
• Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• MRICS chartership preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver QS services from project inception through to completion.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, tender and contract docs.
• Manage project costs and financial reporting.
• Administer contracts under JCT and NEC.

The Role

Working across a diverse range of construction projects, you'll provide both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services while building strong relationships with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Quantity Surveying services from project inception through to completion.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, tender documentation and contract documentation.
• Manage project costs and financial reporting.
• Administer contracts under JCT and NEC forms.
• Work closely with clients, contractors and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support junior team members where appropriate.
• Build long-term client relationships and contribute to repeat business.

About You

You’ll ideally have:

• Consultancy Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong pre and post-contract experience.
• A good working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• A proactive approach and a genuine desire to develop your career.
• MRICS qualified or working towards chartership would be advantageous but isn't essential.
