Matchtech Group is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to support AMP8 water and wastewater projects across clean water, waste, infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes. Based in Manchester with hybrid working, this role suits a commercial professional with strong civil engineering and water industry experience.

You will manage commercial activities, administer NEC contracts, prepare forecasts and cost reports, and provide financial updates throughout the project lifecycle, working with clients

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the water industry.
• Strong civil engineering and infrastructure project experience.
• Practical knowledge of NEC contracts and contract administration.
• Understanding of commercial management, cost control and financial reporting.
• Experience across clean water, wastewater, infrastructure or non-infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Based in Manchester, the role offers a hybrid working arrangement and is suited to a commercial professional with strong civil engineering and water industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing commercial activities across designated water and civil engineering projects

Job Requirements

• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the water industry

• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid Manchester-based environment

• Manchester-based office with hybrid working, typically three days in the office and two days working from home
