Job summary

The company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join an established Bristol-based regional main contractor. You will work with a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a £15m project, handling procurement, subcontractor packages and final accounts from early procurement through to completion.

You should hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNC, have experience from pre-construction to final account, and be familiar with JCT and NEC contracts. UK work rights are required and Bristol commutability is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NEC.
• Must live in a commutable location to Bristol.
• Must have the full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Quantity Surveyor

We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established regional main contractor based in Bristol. The business unit has been established in the region for the last 6 years, growing in presence and undertaking projects across a range of sectors including education, healthcare, social housing and commercial valuing up to 15mil.

As a result of continued growth in the region, they're now looking to expand the commercial team with an additional Quantity Surveyor.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working with a Senior Quantity Surveyor on an upcoming 15mil project in the centre of Bristol. You will be working on the project from early procurement.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Work alongside pre-construction team on any 2-stage tenders
• Procurement / management of sub-contractor packages
• Deal with final accounts
• Contribute to CVRs
• Liaise with the clients teams

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:
