Mainly Bristol-based opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well regarded main contractor. You will work with a Senior QS on an upcoming central Bristol scheme within education, social housing, healthcare or commercial sectors valued up to £20m.

You will gain exposure to procurement, sub-contractor packages, final accounts and CVRs as part of a strong regional team. Must have UK right to work and be willing to travel to office/site as required.

Qualifications

• Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNC.
• Have experience working for main contractors.
• Must live in a commutable location to Bristol and be happy to visit office and site as required.
• MUST have the full right to work in the UK.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well regarded main contractor based in Bristol. The business is privately owned and operates from several regional offices across the country, undertaking projects across a range of sectors including education, social housing, healthcare and commercial valuing up to £20mil. The projects are typically administered via JCT forms of contract.

About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be working alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor on an upcoming scheme in central Bristol. You will be reporting into the Senior QS.

Key Responsibilities as Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• Work alongside pre-construction team on any 2-stage tenders
• Procurement and management of sub-contractor packages
• Deal with final accounts
• Get involved in CVRs
