Job summary

Saxton Recruitment Ltd's client, a leading Tier 1 contractor in the East Midlands, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on public sector projects (£5m-£50m).

You will act as Commercial Lead on Design & Build schemes (£5m-£20m), chair pre-let meetings, manage sub-contract packages, handle variations and CVRs, and drive final accounts with senior oversight. Experience with Tier 1/2 contractors is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction projects for Tier 1/2 contractors.
• Experience dealing with/final accounts.
• Experience managing sub-contractor variations.
• Industry related qualification.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Lead on Design & Build projects £5m - £20m.
• Chair Pre-let meetings and finalising Subcontract Orders.
• Procurement and managing sub-contract packages.

Quantity Surveyor - our client is a leading Tier 1 contractor who is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join the growing commercial team based in the East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work as the commercial lead on a public sector development (£10m).

• Basic salary of £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor ranging from £10m - £20m.
