Job Introduction

Salary: £29,000 - £31,000

Contract: Permanent

Location: Homebased (North West)

Weekly Hours: 35

So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Performance professional to produce regular performance reports, ensure effective controls are in place, and drive performance improvements across our service.

You’ll be joining an engaged and enthusiastic team providing housing and related services for older people, as well as supporting the wider housing team on key projects.

We are looking for someone with excellent data analytical and problem-solving skills who is driven by delivering high-quality services, works collaboratively and can communicate effectively at all levels.

What will my working week look like?

The core hours for our customers are 9am to 5pm, however some work outside of these hours may be required from time to time.

You will be homebased, living within the North West, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses when needed. Realistically, you will be required to visit our Head Office three or four times a month.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will produce regular performance reports for the team and ensure an effective monitoring and control framework is in place. You will also present reports in meetings and support effective discussion and engagement to drive performance improvements across the team.

One of the great things about this role is the opportunity to support current and future ICT projects, implementing and embedding new systems that will support improved performance.

You will also line manage a small team of Administrators, design and implement audits, and liaise with stakeholders to identify and resolve quality and performance issues.

And what would make me stand out from the crowd?

To be a successful asa Quality and Performance Officer,

  • A good understanding of IT systems including Microsoft Office/365 and ideally a working knowledge of using Dynamics CRM.

  • Excellent data analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Ideally you will…

  • Be a collaborative team player.

  • Have an understanding of housing management and the regulatory framework for Housing Associations.

This role is really suited to someone who likes to work with a wide range of stakeholders to drive service improvements for the benefit of our customers and colleagues.

This role also offers genuine progression opportunities for someone keen to develop a career in social housing.

That all sounds great, what’s in it for me?

In return we offer £29,000 - £31,000 for a 35-hour week, and 25 days annual leave (holidays also increase with time served) plus Bank Holidays, but our employee offering provides much more than just a competitive salary and holiday allowance.

We offer a home working culture, giving you more time at home, no more daily commute or the expense that comes with that. However, we know that those social interactions with your teammates are also important, so we have a state-of-the‑art collaboration space based in Birchwood, Warrington (which you’ll need to be able to comfortably commute to when needed for team days, meetings, and training etc).

On top of this, we’ll provide you with a great benefits package, including a contributory pension where we match whatever you choose to contribute (up to 8%), an advanced level Healthcare cash plan Medicash , that doesn’t just provide dental and optician cashback but also health and wellbeing benefits (such as 24/7 GP Access, money back from prescriptions and alternative therapy treatments) and an amazing discount scheme that gives you access to half price cinema tickets, subsidised gym memberships and a huge range of discounts with some of the biggest high street and online names.
