Ernest Gordon Recruitment in Swadlincote is seeking a Quality Manager (Precision Engineering) to own quality, compliance and H&S across the business.

You will manage ISO 9001/QMS, PPAP/APQP docs, and audits, while collaborating with Directors to raise quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality requirements.
• Experience preparing PPAP, APQP, IMDS, ISIR and FAIR documentation.

Responsabilités

• Manage, maintain and continually improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements and manufacturing standards.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate external certification, customer and supplier audits; prepare management review reports and quality KPIs.
• Act as primary quality contact for customers and manage complaints and non-conformances.

Are you a Quality Manager with experience in precision engineering, looking to join an established specialist manufacturer where you will take ownership of Quality, Compliance and Health & Safety across the business?

Do you have experience managing ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and PPAP / APQP documentation, and are now looking for a varied, hands-on management position where you will work directly with company Directors and influence quality standards?

The company are a specialist engineering manufacturer supplying precision-engineered components and assemblies to customers across the Industrial and Automotive sectors.

They provide manufacturing solutions to customers with demanding technical and quality requirements, placing a strong emphasis on product quality, compliance and continuous improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to take responsibility for quality assurance, regulatory compliance, Health & Safety and inspection activities within a specialist engineering manufacturer.

The Role
