ES Recruit seeks a Quality Manager to lead the ISO 9001 QMS within a precision engineering and manufacturing environment. You will drive quality performance, supplier assurance and regulatory compliance while ensuring products meet customer and industry standards.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee the quality team, collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Purchasing, and run audits, RCA and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Quality Manager in engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong ISO 9001 QMS and auditing experience.
• Willing to travel occasionally across the UK and internationally.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of an ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System within a precision engineering and manufacturing environment. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive quality performance, supplier assurance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement while ensuring products consistently meet customer, industry and business standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing compliance through internal, external and customer audits.
• Manage all aspects of quality across manufacturing, inspection, testing, supplier quality and customer complaints, implementing robust root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead, develop and support the Quality team while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing and other departments to drive quality performance.
• Manage supplier quality activities, including supplier audits, performance management, new supplier approvals and technical conformance reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies, PFMEA, MSA, Pareto analysis and data-driven investigations while supporting the development of an integrated management system.

Requirements:

• Proven experienced as a Quality Manager within Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Strong QMS & Auditing experience to ISO 9001
• Willingness to travel occasionally when needed to suppliers and customers, across the UK and Internationally.
• Ability to interpret Engineering drawings.

Permanent Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri

Salary: £ Competitive (dependent on experience)
