Job summary

We can SolviT Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for an engineering firm in Coventry. This full-time permanent role offers a salary of £55,000 p/a and a welcoming team.

You will lead quality assurance, conduct audits, and develop procedures while assessing suppliers in a precision engineering environment. Knowledge of FMEA, APQP/PPAP and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS 16949 is essential. Location: Coventry CV6.

Qualifications

• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & TS 16949.

We are looking for experienced quality manager with time spent in a precision engineering environment, experience carrying out internal & external audits. This is to join a well established engineering firm that is still family owned after over 50 years and growing.

What you will be doing?

Some of your core duties will include:

• Investigating, analysing & correcting quality issues in production & control
• Ensure all departments have developed procedures & adhere to them
• Conduct internal & external audits
• Assess new suppliers to ensure quality compliance
• Knowledge/experience with FMEA, control plans, work instructions, APQP & PPAP
• Experience developing new processes for NPI

To be considered

• Previous quality management within a precision engineering environment
• Strong experience working to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & TS 16949 legislations
• Live within a commutable distance of CV6
