Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Quality Manager in West Bromwich to lead quality across the business. You will maintain the QMS, work with production and purchasing, oversee inspections and corrective actions, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other standards.

Based in or near West Bromwich, you will report to the Board of Directors, manage a quality team, and drive continuous improvement with a strong manufacturing background. Monday to Friday, site-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality management in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 preferred.
• Based in or near West Bromwich.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality Management System and drive quality improvements.
• Collaborate with production and purchasing to implement quality controls and corrective actions.

Quality Manager

This company is looking for a Quality Manager to maintain high quality standards across the business, ensure products meet customer and legal requirements, and drive ongoing improvements to its quality management systems.

The day to day of this role includes managing the Quality Management System, working closely with production and purchasing teams, overseeing inspections and corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation. You will also manage the company's existing Health & Safety system.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems, experience within a manufacturing environment, and a proven ability to drive quality improvements across a business.

The person:

• Strong Quality Management background within manufacturing
• Experience with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 beneficial
