Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to own and drive the company's Quality Management System across manufacturing operations. You will lead audits, manage non-conformances, and champion continuous improvement to ensure products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and industry standards.

The ideal candidate has a proven manufacturing background, strong QMS knowledge, and the ability to mentor teams, collaborate with suppliers, and deliver measurable

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as Quality Manager or senior quality role in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of QMS, audits, compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading corrective actions and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the Quality Management System ensuring compliance with relevant standards and driving ongoing improvements.
  • Develop and improve quality processes, procedures, and documentation to support operational excellence.
  • Lead internal audits, quality reviews, and corrective action processes to ensure continued compliance and effectiveness.
  • Monitor quality performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance processes and standards.
  • Manage non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business, working closely with operational teams to embed best practice.
  • Manage supplier quality performance, ensuring suppliers meet required standards and expectations.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, traceability, and documentation in line with company requirements.
  • Provide quality guidance, training, and support to employees to promote a strong quality culture.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high levels of product quality and customer satisfaction.

Quality Manager

Yolk Recruitment are supporting the recruitment of an experienced Quality Manager for a leading manufacturing organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional to take ownership of the company's Quality Management System, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure products and processes consistently meet customer, regulatory, and industry standards.

As Quality Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across the business, supporting operational teams, managing audits, improving processes, and promoting a culture of quality excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background, proven experience managing quality systems, and a passion for delivering continuous improvement.
