Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is helping a well-established manufacturing business in West Bromwich recruit a Quality Manager. The role focuses on maintaining ISO 9001 quality systems, driving continuous improvement, and leading a quality team across production and purchasing.

You will manage the Quality Management System, oversee inspections and corrective actions, ensure compliance with customer and legal requirements, and collaborate with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong Quality Management background within manufacturing and continuous improvement focus.
• Experience implementing ISO 9001 and related quality systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 is beneficial.

This company is looking for a Quality Manager to maintain high quality standards across the business, ensure products meet customer and legal requirements, and drive ongoing improvements to its quality management systems. The day to day of this role includes managing the Quality Management System, working closely with production and purchasing teams, overseeing inspections and corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation. You will also manage the company’s existing Health & Safety system.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems, experience within a manufacturing environment, and a proven ability to drive quality improvements across a business.

• Reporting directly to the Board of Directors

The person:

• Strong Quality Management background within manufacturing
• Experience with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems
