Peaple Talent is recruiting a Quality Manager for a UK manufacturing site in Willenhall, West Midlands. You will own the ISO 9001 QMS, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with production, engineering and customers.

The role offers up to £45,000 plus a seasonal bonus and excellent benefits, with 40-hour weeks, Monday to Friday. You will lead audits, manage document control, and support ISO 14001 activities to sustain high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quality Manager or senior quality role in manufacturing/engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 is essential; ISO 14001 knowledge is advantageous.
• Ability to lead investigations and drive corrective actions using structured methods.

Responsibilities

A well-established and growing UK manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Quality Manager to take ownership of the site’s quality and environmental systems and drive continuous improvement across operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys working closely with production, engineering, and customers to improve processes, reduce non-conformances, and maintain high operational standards.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage the site’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System and support ISO 14001 Environmental Management activities. The role will involve carrying out product and process audits, leading investigations using 5 Why, 8D, and other structured problem-solving techniques, monitoring customer complaints, maintaining calibration and inspection systems, and ensuring effective document control and SOP management across the site.

About You

Applicants should have experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality role within manufacturing, engineering, metals, or industrial processing. A good understanding of ISO 9001 is essential, while ISO 14001 knowledge would be advantageous. Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to continuous improvement, and the ability to communicate effectively with both operational teams and customers are key requirements for the role.
