Job summary

Pertemps West Bromwich is recruiting a Quality Manager for a reputable manufacturing client in West Bromwich. You will lead the quality function, oversee the Quality Management System, and drive continuous improvement across the site to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001, strong data analysis, and the ability to develop a high-performing quality team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote quality achievement and performance improvement across the business.
• Develop, implement and manage the Quality Management System.
• Maintain ISO 9001 compliance.
• Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation.
• Oversee the company’s health & safety system.
• Collaborate with production to improve product quality and supply.
• Define quality requirements with Purchasing for suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures and documentation.
• Interface with customers to implement corrective actions.
• Monitor performance and produce statistical reports.
• Develop quality team with management.
• Ensure tests and procedures are understood and executed.
• Oversee inspection and release programs for materials.
