Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms is seeking a Quality Manager for a permanent, on-site role in Cannock. You will lead quality operations across a manufacturing setting, owning ISO management systems, supplier performance and customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include supplier audits, managing approval processes, investigating non-conformances and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence, while collaborating across departments to embed

Qualifications

• Proven quality management experience within manufacturing.
• Experience with supplier and customer quality, audits, NCRs.
• Experience managing ISO 9001 and auditing; ISO 14001 knowledge.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans and SPC.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier approval, audits, performance monitoring and improvement programmes.
• Manage customer quality, CCARs and NCRs, leading containment and corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems, coordinate internal and external audits.
• Apply APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans and SPC to support quality.
• Drive continuous improvement and monitor KPIs to reduce defects and costs.
• Collaborate across Purchasing, Sales, Finance, Production and support functions.
