Job summary

Tech Connect Group is seeking a Quality Manager for an automotive operation in Worksop. You will influence quality from incoming components through to final inspection, leading a PDI team and driving improvements across ISO 9001/14001 regimes.

You will partner with Production, Engineering and Purchasing to solve problems, coach staff, and embed quality into daily operations with strong analytical and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
• Experience supervising or managing a team.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Experience with continuous improvement, Lean and 5S.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing quality across components, processes and final vehicle inspection.
• Managing, supporting and developing the PDI team.
• Maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Ensuring IVA, VBTA and Type Approval requirements are met.
• Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to investigate issues and implement solutions.
• Supporting internal audits, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Applying 5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, 5S and Kaizen tools.
• Working with Production, Engineering and Purchasing to identify improvements.
• Coaching colleagues and building quality knowledge across the site.
