Job summary

Unipart Group in Coventry is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality strategy across high-volume electrification assembly, injection moulding, and welding processes. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, QMS, and supply chain assurance in a fast-growing project environment.

You will establish quality frameworks, drive AS9100/ISO9001 compliance, host 8D problem-solving, PPAP, and audit programmes, and collaborate with clients and suppliers to deliver zero-defect outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven Quality Leadership in high-precision manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or defence.
• Expert knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001, AQAP 2110 and DEF STANs.
• Experience with electro-mechanical integration, injection moulding tolerances, and welding standards.
• Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and 8D/5-Why problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Champion the quality strategy across NPI and production.
• Lead compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 and DEF STANs.
• Oversee product assurance for electrification, plastics, and welding.
• Manage 8D, concessions, PPAP, and audits with suppliers and clients.
• Ensure SHE compliance and regulatory standards.
