Job summary

Dennis Eagle in Worksop is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality from incoming components through to final vehicle inspection. You’ll lead the PDI team, maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and work with production, engineering and purchasing to drive improvements across the site.

This hands-on leadership role requires a Manufacturing/Engineering background, knowledge of quality management systems, and a proven ability to lead and develop teams, apply problem-solving tools, and

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality role within manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience managing or supervising a team.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001/14001).
• Experience with continuous improvement, Lean and 5S.
• Practical, evidence-based problem solving approach.
• Clear communication and collaborative relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and decision making based on evidence.
• Qualif. in Manufacturing or Engineering at Level 5 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality across incoming components, processes and final vehicle inspection.
• Lead, support and develop the PDI team.
• Maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Ensure vehicles meet IVA, VBTA and Type Approval requirements.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to investigate issues and implement effective solutions.
• Support internal audits, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Use continuous improvement tools (5 Why’s, Fishbone, 8D, 5S, Kaizen).
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Purchasing to identify improvement opportunities.
• Coach colleagues and build quality knowledge across the operation.
