The Quality Control Supervisor ensures that all products meet or exceed company standards and comply with food processing regulations. They will administer all Seneca Foods quality food safety sanitation and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Performs audits to monitor compliance with all GMP standards Food Safety Standards Food Safety issues Case and Label procedures and Safety programs.
  • Supervise employees on the assigned shift.
  • Coverage of the Night Shift.
  • Review and organize plant processing records for conformance with regulations and Company policy prior to review by the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Provide employee training
  • Perform audits to monitor the sanitary conditions within the manufacturing facility.
  • Perform investigations of causes for any spoilage issues
  • Participate in Food Safety audits as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Food Science Biology Chemistryor a related field preferred.
  • One to two years of supervisory experience would be beneficial.
  • Certified or able to become certified in Better Process Control School HACCP
  • Ability to work weekends and extended hours when required
  • Proficient computer math and analytical skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
