Job summary

Owen Daniels is recruiting a Quality Inspector in Alcester for a permanent late‑shift role. You will visually inspect and measure high‑precision metal components to drawing tolerances and carry out first‑off, last‑off, incoming material and final inspections.

You will investigate non‑conforming parts, ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100, and verify inspections before dispatch. The ideal candidate has experience in regulated industries and proficiency with verniers, calipers, gauges, and

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting metal high-precision components to tight tolerances.
• Experience operating CMM inspection machines.
• Experience in highly regulated environments (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, oil & gas, rail).
• Proficient with dimensional tools such as verniers, calipers, gauges, and micrometres.
• Positive attitude and ability to hit the ground running.

Job Description

• Inspect products visually and measure them to make sure they meet drawing and specification requirements.
• Carry out first-off, last-off, incoming material, and final quality inspections.
• Investigate products that do not meet specifications and report quality issues when required.
• Maintain company quality standards and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
• Ensure all inspections are completed correctly before products are processed and dispatched to customers.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Well-versed in inspecting a range of metal high-precision components/parts to tight tolerances
• Operating CMM inspection machines
• Experience working within a highly regulated environment/industry (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, oil & gas, rail, for example) - Aerospace is perfect, but high precision is fine if not aerospace
• Confident using dimensional measurement tools such as verniers/callipers, gauges, micrometres, etc
• Positive attitude, can hit the ground running
