April Recruitment is assisting a client in Luton who seeks a Quality Inspector to join their team. The role is permanent with a salary of £36,000–£40,000 per year, DOE, and standard benefits.

The successful candidate will inspect products to AS9100 standards, perform first article and final inspections, and support CFMM program creation as needed. The role requires at least 2 years in a similar environment and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar engineering environment.
• Familiar with CMM software.
• Must be PC literate.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality standards on site in line with AS9100 standards.
• Conduct first off inspections, patrol checks and final inspections.
• Use precision measuring equipment from gauges to CMMs.
• Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
• Create CMM programs when required.

Job description

We are working with a reputable client based in Luton (LU3) who require a Quality Inspector to join their team.

The position is a permanent role paying £36,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE).

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm or 8am - 6pm

28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + Peoples Pension.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Quality Inspector within an engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining high quality standards on site, set by the company in line with AS9100 standards


• Conduct first off inspections, patrol checks and final inspections


• Use a range of precision measuring equipment from gauges to CMM's


• Creating First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)


• Create CMM Programs when required

Key Requirements:
