Job summary

Hayley Group in Manchester is seeking a Quality Inspector to uphold the highest standards of quality, accuracy and compliance across components and finished products.

You will inspect using measuring equipment, read engineering drawings, identify non-conformances and support continual improvement activities within a manufacturing environment.

This role offers a structured development path, 23 days annual leave, pension, life assurance and access to Hayley Academy training.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection within manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
• Experience identifying and correcting non-conformances.

We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for a Quality Inspector with strong account manufacturing experience to support our quality control team.

About the Quality Inspectorrole:

You’ll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy and compliance. You’ll be responsible for inspecting components and finished products, carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment, identifying non-conformances and supporting continuous improvement activities.

The ideal candidate will have previous quality inspection experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment, strong attention to detail and the ability to read engineering drawings and specifications. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a quality-focused business committed to delivering excellence to its customers.

What we’re looking for in our Quality Inspector:

• Proven experience in a quality inspection role or significant experience within engineering or manufacturing, ideally within the rail, aerospace or heavy industry sectors
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques and measurement tools
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management systems
• Experience identifying and managing non-conformances and corrective actions
