Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a detail-focused Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing environment producing high-precision components for aerospace and power generation sectors. The role emphasizes ensuring components meet the highest standards before reaching customers.

You will inspect using measuring equipment, verify traceability, complete documentation, and uphold safety and quality procedures in a full-time permanent position with a double-day shift and a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience using inspection and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality concerns.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and quality documentation.
• IT-literate and comfortable using business systems.
• Organised, methodical and able to work accurately under pressure.
• Positive, proactive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Inspect precision-engineered components using a variety of measuring equipment.
• Complete dimensional, visual and quality inspections per plans and specs.
• Verify material traceability and part marking requirements.
• Accurately complete inspection and production documentation.

• Report non-conformances and support corrective actions where required.
