TN Talent Recruitment Ltd are assisting an established manufacturing business in Derbyshire to appoint an Assistant Quality Manager. You will work closely with production and management to develop quality systems and promote continuous improvement.

The role requires experience in QA, CAPA and root-cause analysis, with ISO 9001 knowledge; ISO 13485 beneficial. The successful candidate will lead investigations, drive improvements and maintain quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality engineering or QA leadership within manufacturing.
• Good working knowledge of ISO 9001; ISO 13485 experience advantageous.
• Experience managing non-conformances, root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset and quality tooling.
• Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to influence across departments and drive proactive quality improvements.
• Experience in highly regulated manufacturing sectors is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead quality investigations, identify root causes and implement CAPA.
• Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes and QMS.
• Review and update procedures, work instructions and quality docs.
• Manage non-conformances, customer concerns and supplier quality issues.
• Support development and maintenance of QMS including ISO 9001.
• Apply quality tools and root cause analysis to improvements.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and management to raise quality.
• Support internal and external audits with proper documentation.
• Monitor quality performance, identify trends and propose actions.
• Coach colleagues to foster a proactive quality culture.
