Job summary

bbe Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quality Lead / Supervisor to support and advance the quality function within an established manufacturing and engineering environment. You will maintain the QMS to ISO 9001, oversee QA activities, manage risks and drive corrective actions.

The role focuses on audits, CAPA, continuous improvement and mentoring staff, with day-to-day leadership of the quality team and close collaboration with operations to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality/manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS.
• Experience with auditing, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to coordinate and support a quality team.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ISO 9001 standards.
• Oversee quality control, inspection and testing activities.
• Manage quality risks and support corrective actions.
• Monitor and improve supplier quality.
• Handle quality-related customer complaints and feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement and root-cause problem solving.
• Conduct and support internal, external and ISO audits.
• Implement CAPA and corrective actions where required.
• Train and mentor staff on quality standards and processes.
• Coordinate the day-to-day workload of the quality team.
