Job summary

CV Technical Limited is seeking a Quality Manager to lead a growing quality team within a UK manufacturing business with a global customer base. You will ensure products and processes meet regulatory, industry and customer standards.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on improvement, and robust knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, DFMEA/PFMEA, APQP and PPAP, with a focus on prevention and performance.

Qualifications

• Quality Management or equivalent qualification at Level 4+.
• Proven leadership within a quality function in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
• Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
• MRP/manufacturing systems experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Quality Engineering and Quality Technician teams.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, problem solving and prevention.
• Manage internal quality systems, audits and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (8D, PSP).
• Monitor and improve quality KPIs and performance.
• Manage calibration, inspection and measurement systems.
• Develop and manage supplier quality assurance, audits and improvement programmes.
• Support APQP, PPAP and new product introductions.
• Contain and prevent recurrence of supplier and customer quality issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Procurement and other stakeholders.
