Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency seeks a Quality Engineer for Blandford Forum to act as the technical voice on quality for customer accounts and lead investigations to root cause. You will apply 8D and 5 Why methodologies and support PPAP/APQP for new product introductions.

You will read engineering drawings, apply GD&T, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing quality environment.
• Experience leading customer complaint investigations and corrective actions.
• Proficient in 8D, 5 Why, and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 is advantageous.
• Auditor qualification or lead auditor training; SPC and MSA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary quality contact for assigned customer accounts
• Lead customer complaint investigations using 8D and 5 Why methodologies
• Coordinate customer visits, audits and quality reviews
• Support PPAP preparation and APQP activities for new product introduction
• Monitor and analyse customer PPM, scrap and rework performance
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce non-conformances
