Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment is seeking a Quality Technician in Coventry to inspect and test hydraulic components and assemblies, determining if a product meets requirements. You will investigate customer returns, carry out root-cause analysis and record technical findings to keep customers confident in the product.

You will perform pre-shipment inspections, support rework and verification, read engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics, and produce clear inspection and test reports.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related technical qualification desirable.
• Hands-on mechanical ability with hydraulic experience preferred.
• Able to fault-find, troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis.
• Able to read engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and testing hydraulic valves, manifolds and assemblies against set requirements.
• Investigating customer returns and reported product failures.
• Carrying out root-cause analysis and recording technical findings.
• Performing pre-shipment inspection and functional testing.
• Completing approved rework, repair and product verification.
• Producing clear inspection, test and investigation reports.
