Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment is seeking a Quality Engineer in Blandford Forum to be the technical voice on quality where investigations lead to root cause improvements. You'll collaborate across teams and influence site-wide quality culture.

You'll handle customer accounts, lead 8D and 5 Why investigations, support PPAP and APQP for new products, and monitor PPM, scrap and rework to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience within a manufacturing quality environment.
• Experience leading customer complaint investigations and corrective actions
• Practical use of 8D, 5 Why and root cause analysis methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 advantageous
• Auditor qualification, lead auditor training, or experience with SPC and MSA desirable

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary quality contact for assigned customer accounts
• Lead customer complaint investigations using 8D and 5 Why methodologies
• Coordinate customer visits, audits and quality reviews
• Support PPAP preparation and APQP activities for new product introduction
• Monitor and analyse customer PPM, scrap and rework performance
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce non-conformances
