Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment is seeking a diligent Quality Engineer to own supplier quality activities within a high-volume manufacturing facility. You will drive corrective actions, perform hands-on quality support, and ensure conformance through audits and RCA-driven improvements.

Ideal candidates have a degree or equivalent in quality or engineering, plus practical experience with NPI and supplier processes, and strong Microsoft Office literacy.

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC/NVQ in Quality, Engineering, or related subject or equivalent experience.
• Competent use of Root Cause Analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of NPI processes.
• Experience with supplier quality practices and processes.
• 6 months+ in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft software.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier quality improvement activities and support corrective action reviews.
• Provide hands-on Quality Engineer support across the manufacturing facility.
• Resolve non-conformances using Root Cause Analysis tools and techniques.
• Conduct and support internal, supplier, and process audits.
• Participate in NPI projects, ensuring quality conformance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce the cost of poor quality.
